Vintage Christmas House

This little (6-1/4" x 6" x 5") house is made with the Design-a-House Decor Accent from the Holiday Mini Catalog (120911, $5.95). I painted the chimney and front door a brick red with acrylic paint and left the rest of the house white (that is how it comes). I then added a strip of scallops around the top of the chimney made with the Scallop Edge Border punch (119882). Glued batting to the roof and around house and sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter (102023). I applied glue around the roof and chimney edges and added Champagne glass glitter (120997). The "icecicles" around the roof edge and chimney are the Clear Tinsel Trim (120993). The shutters are made using part of the Decorative Label punch (120907) and covering with Champagne glass glitter. I put vellum cardstock (101856) on the inside for the windows. Add a battery opperated tea light for a warm glow! SO CUTE! The "Seasons Greetings" is from the Welcome Christmas stamp set and the wreath on the door is from the Jolly Jingo Bits set. Both are embossed with gold on Shimmery White paper (101910).

Christmas Cards

Here are some Christmas cards we made in the November 5 class.

This card uses a techinique I learned at the Portland regional where you use patterned paper and run it through an embossing folder with Versamark on it and then emboss with white embossing powder.

Supplies used for this card: Real Red, Blushing Bride & Whisper White card stock, Candy Cane Christmas designer series paper, Bells & Boughs stamp set, Petals-a Plenty embossing folder, Big Shot, white embossing powder, VersaMark, Brayer, Real Red & Blushing Bride classic ink, Decorative Label punch.

This card uses the medalion stamp from the Day of Gratitude stamp set for the "snowflake". Other supplies used are: Seasonal Sentiments stamp set, Baja Breeze & Whisper White card stock, VersaMark, Silver embossing powder, heat tool, Baja Breeze classic ink, stamping sponge, Whisper White organza ribbon, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder & Big Shot.

Love this Christmas Postcard stamp! It makes for a quick and easy card stamped in a single color or stamp in black and color in if you have more time.
Supplies used: Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler & Very Vanilla card stock, Deck the Halls designer series paper, Always Artichoke classic ink, Always Artichoke seam binding, Victoria crochet trim & Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch.
