The <strong>Window Box Thinlits Dies</strong> can do so much more than just make a box.</div>

I love this card.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Using the large floral die on a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of <strong>Whisper White</strong> cardstock, I cut the image out and then stamped a greeting from <strong>Flourishing Phrases</strong> with <strong>Watermelon Wonder</strong> ink.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The card base is made of <strong>Whisper White Thick Cardstock</strong> and I sponged ink (<strong>Watermelon Wonder, Crushed Curry </strong>and<strong> Wild Wasabi</strong>) where it would show through when the floral die cut piece was on over it.</div>

For this card I used a <strong>Crumb Cake</strong> cardstock for the base and stamped with <strong>Crumb Cake</strong> ink balloons and clouds. On <strong>Whisper White</strong> cardstock I stamped the greeting and one balloon in<strong> Island Indigo</strong> and the other balloon in <strong>Cherry Cobbler</strong>. I then used the coordinating dies and cut out the images and clouds (which I then sponged the edges with Island Indigo ink). For the greeting banner I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 7/8" x 5-1/5" long and used the banner die piece in the <strong>Window Box Thinlits Dies </strong>set. It is a small piece that cuts the dove tails and scores the paper so you can fold it for a dimensional banner.</div>

For the center of the flower I just used the white and colored it with a marker. The pieces stayed quite nicely in place and I just applied some regular tape to the back to hold them.</div>

Also used on this card is the <strong>Urban Underground designer series paper</strong>, <strong>Elegant Dots embossing folder </strong>and<strong> Whisper White Baker's Twine.</strong></div>

Thought I would pull out the lovely <strong>Reason for the Season</strong> stamp set. I love the words in this set and the two-step stamping for the poinsettia.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The card base is <strong>Cherry Cobbler</strong> cut at 8-1/4" x 4-1/4" scored at 5-1/2".</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
On the front flap is a piece of <strong>This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper</strong>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For the top panel I used a piece of <strong>Garden Green</strong> with a layer of <strong>Very Vanilla</strong> cardstock embossed with the <strong>Pine Bough embossing folder</strong>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The greeting is stamped in <strong>Garden Green</strong> and the flower in <strong>Cherry Cobbler</strong> and <strong>Garden Green</strong>.</div>

A couple of years ago I picked up an orange cable knit sweater at a thrift store with the intention of making a stuffed pumpkin with it. That didn't happen and I don't even know where the orange sweater went to...perhaps back to the thrift store.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Anyway, that is what inspired this card...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Using a die from the <strong>Layering Ovals Framelits</strong> I cut out 3 ovals from <strong>Pumpkin Pie cardstock</strong> and then embossed them with the <strong>Cable Knit embossing folder</strong>. I then sponged the edges with<strong> Soft Suede ink </strong>and then layered them together to create the pumpkin. From <strong>Soft Suede cardstock</strong> I hand cut a stem and used a die from the <strong>Cupcake Cutouts Framelits</strong> for the curly vine part.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Well, I am finally inking up some of the other stamps in the <strong>Jar of Haunts stamp set </strong>(so far I have only used the pumpkin image). When I found these cute little individual bags of candy corn I knew I had to make these tags with the jar and candy corn to go with them.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEig67JQu1wpGy5WtmxMsPgaQamorEzAi-XIjmJKyFdo7nodxNffQi2STAq1LWN1CiXnTs0OcVxrEExaJzaGW5tb4LA6KiDTc8xKQJjSkRKuoVyn9DR4-AVUC_7ewOHnbq4xK-aoXeASr44/s1600/100_0812.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEig67JQu1wpGy5WtmxMsPgaQamorEzAi-XIjmJKyFdo7nodxNffQi2STAq1LWN1CiXnTs0OcVxrEExaJzaGW5tb4LA6KiDTc8xKQJjSkRKuoVyn9DR4-AVUC_7ewOHnbq4xK-aoXeASr44/s400/100_0812.JPG" width="382" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I stamped the jar, candy corn, spider and treat saying with <strong>Basic Black ink</strong> on <strong>Whisper White cardstock</strong>. Cut out the jars with the <strong>Everyday Jars Framelits</strong> and the greeting with a die from the <strong>Tags & Labels Framelits</strong>. I colored the candy corn with the <strong>Daffodil Delight </strong>and<strong> Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Markers</strong></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I punched a hole through both pieces and then tied together with some twine from the<strong> Halloween Night Baker's Twine</strong>. Then I just stapled the tag to the top of the bag with the Handheld Stapler and <strong>Silver Mini Staples</strong> that are found in the Annual Catalog on page 185...I love this stapler and it is being discontinued so if you want it now is the time. I have stocked up on the silver mini staples.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
I miscounted and didn't make one tag for the number of jars I made so just stamped the "Happy Halloween" from the <strong>Jar of Haunts</strong> stamp set masking off the swirl that is under it.</div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3nXV8fPuaaYh4_H8TVpgPs2rGPoLJxptBCJUdKiW9yWlwRtvhgPUZmtlo-haphZ-ct_Xo7VQc3mt9gIJ3whlXC1Z29YCHuLuqW-_uWgzuKDrnYpvmZ0EPwIv5CuRfBxhlwMkeA_x_YnM/s1600/100_0808.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="225" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3nXV8fPuaaYh4_H8TVpgPs2rGPoLJxptBCJUdKiW9yWlwRtvhgPUZmtlo-haphZ-ct_Xo7VQc3mt9gIJ3whlXC1Z29YCHuLuqW-_uWgzuKDrnYpvmZ0EPwIv5CuRfBxhlwMkeA_x_YnM/s400/100_0808.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Oh my, I have been having fun collecting leaves and doodling on them but really my doodling was not what I imagined it would be so I simplified it with dots around the edges and words.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiL0KIMbAgqK0fmsIXSzaMqS1uxInCW1HoePdKZ46G7u-a6WRzlgzhOYYh2feKl-gIdvqPafFUnP6_e2u4muwXceUQ6HCnpR2e44SENfV2nMu5Ff0eWidHtp8__w0aEx9b_F94PWdhtVZk/s1600/100_0784.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="326" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiL0KIMbAgqK0fmsIXSzaMqS1uxInCW1HoePdKZ46G7u-a6WRzlgzhOYYh2feKl-gIdvqPafFUnP6_e2u4muwXceUQ6HCnpR2e44SENfV2nMu5Ff0eWidHtp8__w0aEx9b_F94PWdhtVZk/s400/100_0784.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
At first I tried a white gel pen but wasn't getting good results when I thought I would try the<strong> Stampin' Chalk Marker</strong> and it worked great!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Then not being overly impressed with my handwriting I pulled out the <strong>Labeler Alphabet stamp set</strong> and <strong>Whisper White Craft Stampin' Pad</strong> and it worked great.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtDiqCygsUKFXcZh6DiKNHJj9D0vUkeR_d-cNj_Dy3__vxnPh_JWDE-9QBOqmVZ8c3VfP12Jw0E0C0sRkBmyG4Sho-QpD8v_f5I6d9qMlqBp-QZ6UrSshUMkru0jZo3c92fD-ItNVOO7E/s1600/100_0831.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="262" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtDiqCygsUKFXcZh6DiKNHJj9D0vUkeR_d-cNj_Dy3__vxnPh_JWDE-9QBOqmVZ8c3VfP12Jw0E0C0sRkBmyG4Sho-QpD8v_f5I6d9qMlqBp-QZ6UrSshUMkru0jZo3c92fD-ItNVOO7E/s400/100_0831.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So end result was I used the chalk marker for the dots around the edges and then stamped a word.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Love them!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I looked for leaves that were freshly fallen and still soft not dried.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
They will curl up as they dry so after stamping and letting the ink dry, which didn't seem to take long, I pressed them under a large clear quilting ruler that I have...it wasn't too heavy and did the job.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Don't you just love white pumpkins and mini pumpkins? </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This card was inspired by one I saw by Erica Cerwin. She used the <strong>Layering Ovals Framelits</strong> to create a pumpkin. Of course! I remember doing pumpkins with the oval punches so why not with the framelits and they can be so many sizes...I really like this larger sized pumpkin and it works so well with the <strong>Vintage Leaves Stamp set</strong> and coordinating <strong>Leaflets framelits</strong>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For the pumpkin I used <strong>Very Vanilla cardstock</strong> and sponged the edges with <strong>Soft Sky and Crumb cake inks</strong> then layered them together and added a little stem of <strong>Chocolate Chip cardstock</strong> about 1/2" wide. For the background I embossed <strong>Crumb Cake cardstock</strong> with the<strong> Cable Knit embossing folder. </strong>The leaves were stamped on <strong>Very Vanilla cardstock</strong> in <strong>Chocolate Chip ink</strong> and then sponged with <strong>Old</strong> <strong>Olive, Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry inks</strong>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
For the pumpkin on this card I stamped the image with <strong>black StazOn ink</strong> on <strong>watercolor paper</strong> and then used an <strong>Aqua Painter</strong> to color the pumpkin using ink in the lids of my <strong>Pumpkin Pie</strong>, <strong>Garden Green</strong> and <strong>Soft Suede</strong> stamp pads. For the shadow or ground I used the <strong>Sahara Sand</strong> Stampin' Write marker and scribbled on some color and then blended it out with an <strong>Aqua Painter</strong>. </div>
<br />
<div align="center">
For the background I used the <strong>Endless Thanks</strong> stamp set and stamped the word "grateful" in <strong>Crumb Cake</strong> ink on <strong>Crumb Cake</strong> cardstock, stamping twice each time I inked up the stamp.</div>
<div align="center">
The "thank you" is from the same set and is stamped in black.</div>

<div align="center">
The little dots are from the <strong>Holly Jolly Greetings</strong> stamp set and are stamped in <strong>Delightful Dijon</strong> ink, again stamping twice before re-inking.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I added a strip of <strong>Pumpkin Pie Glimmer paper</strong> and some twine from the <strong>Burlap Ribbon</strong> (just cut off a length of ribbon and then pull out individual pieces).</div>

<div align="center">
I have also been creating fabric pumpkins.</div>

Fall is here in full force with all it's beautiful colors and so I pulled out the lovely <strong>Sheltering Tree</strong> stamp set and combined it with the pumpkin from the <strong>Jar of Haunts</strong> stamp set to create this thank you card.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3hcVAq3NB1J3T3YDVjMg-eOabgUnJdA2gcECWvb5hnL4z-YXEYJD5BMu44zmWN1AUxxXMsQV_DY-gGo0VVgK8z6LPR65P24t3FXvCV1LbSUnNjWV90ZcnIMHsMCcYOwgRyGq5iNNDqH4/s1600/100_0720.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3hcVAq3NB1J3T3YDVjMg-eOabgUnJdA2gcECWvb5hnL4z-YXEYJD5BMu44zmWN1AUxxXMsQV_DY-gGo0VVgK8z6LPR65P24t3FXvCV1LbSUnNjWV90ZcnIMHsMCcYOwgRyGq5iNNDqH4/s400/100_0720.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For the tree I stamped the trunk in Soft Suede and the large dotted stamp (leaves) in <strong>Delightful Dijon</strong> and then took the smaller dotted (leaves) stamp and added <strong>Pumpkin Pie</strong> and <strong>Cajun Craze</strong> leaves.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I stamped the tree image on a larger piece of <strong>Very Vanilla cardstock</strong> and then cut it to a square using the largest square die in the <strong>Layering Squares framelits</strong> set.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The background is <strong>Cajun Craze cardstock</strong> embossed with the <strong>Petal Burst embossing folder</strong>.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicZmSuikkmqtW5fwK86po4rAv1skyyR0MPzhIwBJMfFbtgk1lQeW9Gn-X0bwb3PFIcI_v760R_5-uDenNOMF02X58uA5J46HFi9qzhU1GFvSqmM5WlQQ81-Bs9e3usfl4tYiY_FZ022PU/s1600/100_0721.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicZmSuikkmqtW5fwK86po4rAv1skyyR0MPzhIwBJMfFbtgk1lQeW9Gn-X0bwb3PFIcI_v760R_5-uDenNOMF02X58uA5J46HFi9qzhU1GFvSqmM5WlQQ81-Bs9e3usfl4tYiY_FZ022PU/s400/100_0721.JPG" width="386" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For the pumpkin I stamped it in <strong>Cajun Craze</strong> and then using an <strong>Aqua Painter</strong> and ink refills of <strong>Delightful Dijon </strong>and<strong> Pumpkin pie</strong> I colored the pumpkin. The leaf is <strong>Always Artichoke</strong> and the stem <strong>Soft Suede</strong>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used the <strong>Banners for You</strong> and <strong>Bunch of Banners framlits</strong> for the sentiment.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also added a bit of <strong>Gold Metallic Thread</strong> behind the banner.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6dIXT7J8HB45Uva3mfO5jAdKw5OjYsVAdQ1tOnVfUqDxq73Yml4H5Sn5GAi7RE9kR3IajPZwovegjYe3JaMPkKwrA3kkYS_6FOIdOspZhUreaPSklgjgw-ON05pS0jNRaeMX0KfaadHc/s1600/100_0723.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="356" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6dIXT7J8HB45Uva3mfO5jAdKw5OjYsVAdQ1tOnVfUqDxq73Yml4H5Sn5GAi7RE9kR3IajPZwovegjYe3JaMPkKwrA3kkYS_6FOIdOspZhUreaPSklgjgw-ON05pS0jNRaeMX0KfaadHc/s400/100_0723.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div align="center">
To finish it off I added a sprinkle of <strong>Gold Wink of Stella</strong> and also some speckles of <strong>Cajun Craze</strong> and <strong>Delightful Dijon </strong>using the<strong> Stampin' Write Markers</strong> in those colors.</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
Tip of what <em>not</em> to do:</div>
<div align="center">
I felt the need to speed up the drying of larger drops of Gold Wink of Stella and used the heat tool which messed up the Gold Metallic Thread that I had so nicely looped above the banner, the bottom ones didn't get the heat and still look good. Should have just been patient or maybe added more heat to see what would happen further to the thread.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I thought it was about time I played with the <strong>Emerald Envy Ombre Stampin' Pad</strong> a little and had fun!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Love it for the pines with the <strong>Christmas Pines</strong> stamp set as seen on the card below.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It is the only stamp pad I used for color on this card.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8ozQK-cT-XW-XI_IwzTgKqAp7kuTnb_A4LyQgI9oQshPGNJwuKtcUZGGi-5CT88Y6SlFbG-JjwVnNylKeB4-urPR7dnS0fyKov6r8MeuaXZDYyL1LKiDiG1VfQthN7TVuhdUgH0CPeSI/s1600/100_0698.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8ozQK-cT-XW-XI_IwzTgKqAp7kuTnb_A4LyQgI9oQshPGNJwuKtcUZGGi-5CT88Y6SlFbG-JjwVnNylKeB4-urPR7dnS0fyKov6r8MeuaXZDYyL1LKiDiG1VfQthN7TVuhdUgH0CPeSI/s400/100_0698.JPG" width="312" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To add some sparkle I stamped the snowflake/dots stamp with <strong>VersaMark ink</strong> and embossed with silver embossing powder.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For this next card I again used the <strong>Emerald Envy Ombre Stampin' Pad</strong> to stamp the pines and the "Noel". Added some pinecones made with the <strong>Pretty Pines thinlits dies</strong> and <strong>Emerald Envy, Mint Macaron, </strong>and <strong>Silver Glimmer paper.</strong></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Finished it off with a bow of <strong>3/8" Emerald Envy Silky Taffeta Ribbon</strong> from the combo pack in the holiday catalog and I did color over the stamped images with the <strong>Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush</strong> but it doesn't show in the photo.</div>
<br />
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">

<div align="center">
Didn't used the ombre pad on this card. I started out with embossing <strong>Emerald Envy</strong> cardstock with the <strong>Pine Bough Textured Embossing Folder</strong> and layered that on a card base of <strong>Mint Macaron</strong>.</div>

I added some pines cut out with the <strong>Pretty Pines Thinlits dies</strong> in <strong>Mint Macaron</strong> and <strong>Silver Foil</strong>.</div>

For the pinecones I stamped images from the <strong>Christmas Pines</strong> stamp set with <strong>VersaMark ink</strong> and heat embossed with silver embossing powder on <strong>Mint Macaron</strong> and <strong>Emerald Envy</strong> cardstock then cut them out with the coordinating <strong>Pretty Pines thinlits dies</strong>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The "Noel" is also silver embossed.</div>

I am really liking the <strong>Emerald Envy</strong> as a green option for Christmas cards.</div>
