Simply Pressed Clay Blossoms

 

Another sneak peek at a fun new item in the 2013-2014 Stampin' Up! catalog.

 

The items used to make these cute flowers are the Buttons & Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Molds and the Simply Pressed Clay.

 

 

Last night I made up several flowers with the white molding clay.  You can dye the clay with ink but I wanted to color the flowers with markers so I left the clay white.  I also just pressed a couple of the flowers into the ink pad for colors I didn't have the new markers for yet - Crisp Cantaloupe and Coastal Cabana.

 

I only did the flowers because I was having trouble with getting the buttons to come out of the mold with out ruining them.  Will have to work on that some more.

These are great!  you can make up a bunch, just leave them white and then color to match your project!

 

Now to use them on something.  I just colored without a plan here.

Secret Garden & Really Good Greetings

 

I am working on a quilt with these fun, large dots and the colors were reminding me of Stampin' Up! colors which then inspired me to get out some stamps, paper and ink and make a card!

As I am sewing these cute dots on the background fabric I am thinking...Real Red, Bermuda Bay, Summer Starfruit, Costal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe, and Whisper White.

 



For the flowers I used the Secret Garden stamp set and coordinating framlits dies.

The greeting is from the Really Good Greetings stamp set in the new catalog along with the Gingham wheel - both will be available starting in June!

Mosaic Madness

 

Another peek at new items from the 2013-2014 Stampin' Up! Catalog.

 

This card features the stamp set Mosiac Madness and coordinating Mosaic punch.

 

 

Also featured is the stamp set Really Good Greetings and three new In-Colors - Baked Brown Sugar, Pistachio Pudding, and Crisp Cantaloupe.

 

 

I haven't been stamping as much as sewing lately and was very sad that Stampin' Up! doesn't have fabric in the new catalog.

 

Speaking of sewing...I just have to share a photo of my new toy I got at a yard sale today...

 

I was so excited and it works great!

 

I will still be stamping in between sewing...

Wildflower Meadow Tag

Lots of fun new items in the 2013 -2014 Catalog!

 

I have gotten a few things and haven't even played with them, just looked at them....

Forever Young Mother's Day Card

The Forever Young stamp set is retiring and I have not used it nearly enough!

 

 

This card uses the new In-Color Crisp Cantaloupe...it is so pretty.

 

To change the color of the Doily I brayered Crisp Cantaloupe ink onto it.

I stamped the tree image with Crisp Cantaloupe on the front of a Crumb Cake envelope.
