Sprinkles of Life

Playing with the new In-Colors and the stamp set Sprinkles of Life and coordinating Tree Builder punch. Here are a couple of quick and easy cards.

 

A scoop of ice cream in each of the new In-Colors-

Watermelon Wonder

Mint Macaron

Delightful Dijon

Tip Top Taupe

Cucumber Crush

 

Instead of a scoop of ice cream the same image can be used as a cloud.

Here all the drops are in the different In-Colors.

Just Blowing Bubbles!

Oh, I have something fun to share with you...a little messy but fun.

 

Using this idea of Bubble Painting, which is wonderful for kids but I want something for me using Stampin' Up! supplies.  So I used ink refills in the bubbles on Whisper White cardstock and it worked great!  I made these cards back in May.

 

 

I think I used Island Indigo and Pool Party ink refills...don't recall how much just added until it came out like I wanted.  After placing cardstock on top of bubbles I would dab off with a paper towel and then do it again until I had the coverage I wanted.

Choose Happiness

Another watercolor card today.  Using images from the stamp set Choose Happiness I heat embossed the flowers and leaves with white embossing powder on watercolor paper.

 

I added color to the flowers and leaves with Watermelon Wonder and Mint Macaron Stampin' Write Markers and then misted the paper heavily with water so the color spread.  I then went back in and added some more color with the markers .

Sweetbriar Rose Watercolor

During the pre-order time of the new catalog I placed a small order of the In-Colors and finally got a chance to play with them.

I used the stamp Sweetbriar Rose and heat embossed the image with white embossing powder on watercolor paper.

 

Using the Stampin' Write markers in Watermelon Wonder and Mint Macaron I colored a little of the image in and then misted with water and let the colors spread.  I then used an Aqua Painter and Soft Sky and Tip Top Taupe to shade the background.

I mounted the watercolor paper on a piece of Mint Macron and then onto a card base of Tip Top Taupe.

 

I has such a soft pretty look.  No greeting on this one so I can pull it out for any occasion...always nice to have a few of those kind of cards around.

Goodbye and Hello Again

Thought I ought to pop in and post a few of the cards that I haven't been posting but I have been making.  Each of these cards feature products that are retiring (bye-bye) and products that are sticking around and are in the new catalog.

 

 

Saying goodbye to the Painted Blooms designer series paper but glad that the stamp set Feel Goods is sticking around for another year!

 

 

 

 

 

So happy that Sheltering Tree is in the new catalog but sad to say goodbye to the retiring In Colors, Baked Brown Sugar and Strawberry Slush.
