Sail Away

The Summer Mini Catalog will be ending August 31 and along with it your chance to have this beautiful stamp called Sail Away (#123013).

To create the background for the sailboat I used glossy cardstock (102599) and stamped the sailboat image with Versamark ink (102283) and then applied black embossing powder (109133)and heat embossed. I created a mask for the sails by stamping the image on a scrap piece of paper and cutting out the sails. I adhered the sails to my embossed image with Dotto repositionalble adhesive (103305). Then I brayered (102395) over the image at the top and bottom with Marina Mist ink 119668). To create the horizon I masked off where I wanted it with a post-in note and sponged Perfect Plum ink (101437) on then flipped the mask and sponged the Perfect Plum below into the water also. To create the white-caps I used the uni-ball Signo Gel Pen (105021).

Pennant Parade

I have had the stamp set Pennant Parade and the coordinating punch Petite Pennants Builder since June and have just lately gotten them out to play with.

I am really happy with the way this card turned out but using the Beau Chateau designer series paper (122357) makes everything lovely! Other items used on this card are the Curly Cute (117014 or 120510) and Tiny Tags (118091 or 118592) stamp sets and the Petite Pennants Builder punch (122361).

This card features the Well Worn designer series paper (122359) and the First Edition specialty designer series paper (121878) along with the Pennant Parade (122740 or 122742) and Happiest Birthday Wishes (122615 or 122617 hostess only) stamp sets. Notice the cute little brads holding the pennants together? They are the new Silver Mini Brads (122941) - so CUTE!

This last card I have to share today also uses the Pennant Parade stamp set and Petite Pennants builder punch and features the Just Add Cake designer series paper (124339). The senitment is from the Delightful Dozen stamp set (122650 or 122652) and the white scallops are made with the Scallop Edge Border punch (119882).

CREATE Decor Element

Look what I put up on the wall in my Stampin' Studio today!

I love the look of this Decor Element! It is quite large, 36-3/8 x 11-1/8. It took some time but wasn't as bad to put up as I thought it might be.

New Catalog Card Class!

Beau Chateau Designer Paper

I just loved this new designer series paper called Beau Chateau and took advantage of the current specail of buy 3 get one free to stock up on some! Click on the link on the side and order some paper today!

Here are a couple of cards I made using paper from the Beau Chateau paper (#122357). The cute little chicken "stamp" is from the Beau Chateau Side Notes (#122379), a cute collection of die-cut tags and accents that coordinate with the Beau Chateau papers. There is also coordinating fabric too! (#122336). I haven't made anything yet with it but I will.
I also used the new Designer Frames embossing folder (#123130), Marina Mist Scallop Dots Ribbon (#122986), Boho Blossoms punch (#119858), Bird Builder punch (#117191), Basic Pearls (119247), Silver Mini Brads (#122941) and Thank You Kindly stamp set (#111700). Card stock used was Crumb Cake, Marina Mist and Soft Suede.

Isn't that rooster cute framed in the new Designer Frames embossing folder? also used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder (#120175), Scallop Trim Border punch (118402), Delightful Dozen stamp set (122650, wood or 122652, clear), Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon (122331) and Vintage Trinkets (118764). Cardstock used was Very Vanilla, Marina Mist and Soft Suede.

Hello, Hello!

Well I am finally back! My craft room is put back together since the flooding in my basement and I have been stamping again! Wow, I went over 2 months without stamping and it is fun to be back at it playing with some new items from the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog.

This card features the new border punch Lace Ribbon (#122362), and My Friend stamp set (#122585, wood or #122587, clear).
