Keepin' it Simple with Awesomely Artistic

Love how this card turned out.
Clean and simple.
The dragonfly image is from the stamp set Awesomely Artistic.
For the background of the dragonfly I used a clear block and stamped it in Sahara Sand then rolled the edges on the Night of Navy ink pad and misted with water then stamped on Whisper White card stock.  After letting that dry I stamped the dragonfly image on with Night of Navy ink and added some Dazzling details on the wings.
The embossed lines were done using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool, every 1/8" mark between the 1" and 2".

For the card below I sponged the Sahara Sand and Night of Navy on a square of Very Vanilla cardstock then stamped the image.
Added a little stamping to the inside of the Navy card.

White Space Therapy

Sometimes I just sit and look at my stamps and don't even know where to start and other times I can't create fast enough as the ideas keep flowing though my mind.
Today was a little slow until I was inspired by a card by Kimberly VanDiepen at Stampin By The Sea.
Be sure and check out her blog post.
I often over think my cards so keeping to the sample and leaving lots of white space (was very tempted to do something to it but I didn't) made for some good stampin therapy time!

I used the Vintage Leaves stamp set and Leaflets framlits for the leaf and the sentiment is from a stamp set in the Holiday mini catalog called Happy Scenes.
I heat embossed the leaf with white embossing powder on white paper then sponged on Crumb Cake and a little Soft Suede ink.  For the sparkle I squeezed out some Dazzling Details glitter glue on the leaf and rubbed it all around with my finger and let it dry.
Now, your turn...go get some stampin' therapy.

Paper Pumpkin

My very first Paper Pumpkin just arrived yesterday!
I really don't like surprises and not knowing what I would be getting I have not ordered Paper Pumpkin until last month when it was a cute little latte related stamp set.  I quickly ordered hoping they would send that one but it doesn't work that way and I got this months which is very cute so I thought I would share.
If you are not familiar with Paper Pumpkin, it comes with everything you need to make the projects in the box.

First I stamped the images with the white ink that came in the box on the black die cut labels.
I did use some sentiments from other stamp sets.

I set those off to the side to dry while I folded the cards and added the banners to them and made one of the little gift boxes with flower.  They were dry when I was ready to put them on the cards and box.

Changed my mind on some of the sentiments I had stamped so turned a couple of labels over and stamped a new one on the back.
Looking forward to my next box!

Playing with the new In-Colors and the stamp set Sprinkles of Life and coordinating Tree Builder punch. Here are a couple of quick and easy cards.
A scoop of ice cream in each of the new In-Colors-
Watermelon Wonder
Mint Macaron
Delightful Dijon
Tip Top Taupe
Cucumber Crush
Instead of a scoop of ice cream the same image can be used as a cloud.
Here all the drops are in the different In-Colors.

Just Blowing Bubbles!

Oh, I have something fun to share with you...a little messy but fun.
Using this idea of Bubble Painting, which is wonderful for kids but I want something for me using Stampin' Up! supplies.  So I used ink refills in the bubbles on Whisper White cardstock and it worked great!  I made these cards back in May.
I think I used Island Indigo and Pool Party ink refills...don't recall how much just added until it came out like I wanted.  After placing cardstock on top of bubbles I would dab off with a paper towel and then do it again until I had the coverage I wanted.
I hope you like this idea and try it out yourself.
Have fun!
