Woodland Pretty Pines

I made a couple of Christmas cards using the Woodland embossing folder along with the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies.

This first card has a card base of Smokey Slate with and a piece of Vellum Cardstock that was embossed with the Woodland folder adhered to it.

The pines are die cut from Garden Green cardstock and the pinecones are Soft Suede and Early Espresso cardstock.  The greeting is from the Christmas Pines stamp set.
I added a little Silver Metallic Thread and some sequins along with a die cut of berries out of Whisper White cardstock. In the next photo I added another sprig of the berries that was cut out of Silver Glimmer paper.
A little more sparkle never hurts.

For this next card I embossed Crumb Cake cardstock with the Woodland folder and then sponged on Soft Suede ink onto the tree trunks.

The pines are Garden Green and Always Artichoke and I sponged them a little with the Soft Suede ink.  The pinecones are different, one is Crumb Cake and Soft Suede and the other is Sahara Sand and Early Espresso.
I stamped the "JOY" and nativity image from the stamp set Joyful Nativity with Early Espresso ink.
The nativity image was stamped on a scrap of Crumb Cake cardstock and punched out with a circle punch and adhered with Stampin Dimensionals.

Not really sure what the right way is to do the pinecones but they work well so many ways.
Each piece works well alone or layered together like I did here.

Happy Stampin'-
