Joyful Christmas Gift Tag

Here is another Christmas gift tag idea.

The flower is from the stamp set Joyful Christmas.  I stamped 2 images on Vellum card stock with VersaMark ink and heat set White Embossing powder. Cut out one complete flower and then just the center of the other one to layer.

The silver on the edges is done by running the Silver Metallic Encore Pad around the edges of the paper and covering with Clear embossing powder then heat setting.  It has a little different look than using Silver embossing powder but you could just do that instead.

Other Supplies Used:

Whisper White and Cherry Cobbler card stock
Cherry Cobbler classic ink
Pretty Print embossing folder
Frosted Finishes Embellishments
Silver 1/8" ribbon
Apothecary Accents Framelits dies
Floral Frames Collection framelits dies

Snow Day Gift Tags

I am having so much fun with the Snow Day stamp set and I wasn't even going to get it but glad I did.

I stamped the snowman and snowflakes with Soft Sky classic ink on Whisper White card stock.
Then stamped is face, arms and buttons with Black StazOn ink.  The carrot nose was stamped with Pumpkin Pie.
I highlighted the snowman and snowflakes with the Dazzling Details to add a little sparkle.

The last one I stamped I decided to try adding the hat and I think he looks so cute and it goes well with the Basic Black Chevron Ribbon.
The "let it snow" is from the Best of Snow stamp set and punched out with the Label Bracket Punch.

Sweater Weather Candy Wrappers

I made these candy wrappers for Thanksgiving party favors using the Envelope Punch Board and a video on youtube by Dee Slater HERE .

I used up some of the last of my Sweater Weather designer series paper along with the Tags 4 You stamp set and the Label Bracket Punch.  The "happy Thanks giving" image is stamped in Chocolate Chip classic ink on Whisper White card stock.

I did change the size from the one shown in the video to make smaller candy wrappers and also to get more out of a 12 x 12 sheet of paper.

I cut my paper at 6" x 5-1/2".
Score on the 5-1/2" side at 1-1/4", 2-1/2", 3-3/4", and 5".
punch on both ends at each fold 1-1/2" in on the 6" side.
Score the 6" side at 1", 1-1/2", 2", 4", 4-1/2" and 5".
Watch the video and these instructions should make sense.

The candy wrappers hold 3 mini Reeses Peanut Butter cups.

Christmas Gift Card with Envelope

This little gift card measures 2-1/2 x 3 and uses the stamp set Merry Little Christmas.
Cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock 5" x 3" and fold in half.  Stamp image with Old Olive classic ink on the card front.  On a piece of Whisper White card stock stamp with Cherry Cobbler the word "little" from the stamp and cut out.  Adhere with a Stampin' Dimensional.  Tie a piece of Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine around the card and you are done!

The envelope is made using the Envelope Punch Board and Vellum Card Stock.  I then ran the completed envelope through the Big Shot with the Northern Flurry embossing folder.

Peace On Earth Christmas Card

I am really happy with how this card turned out.
It uses 3 stamp sets which are: Calm Christmas, World Map, and Post Card.

I stamped the World Map on Very Vanilla card stock with Sahara Sand ink, then stamped the Post Card stamp with Soft Suede.  The dove is stamped in Soft Suede after stamping off on a scrap of paper to get a softer look.  The greeting is stamped with Early Espresso ink and "Peace on Earth" was heat embossed with Early Espresso embossing powder.

For a little shine I added some Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter with the 2-Way Glue Pen just where I wanted it - across the top of the post card and on the branch in the dove's beak.
The bow is made using the Very Vanilla 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon - love that ribbon!

Masking Tape Technique Poinsettia

Have you tried the masking tape technique?
I haven't done much but really love how this poinsettia from the Joyful Christmas stamp set turned out with this technique.

I actually used painter's tape along with Cherry Cobbler and Blushing Bride classic ink.
I cut a piece of tape a little longer than the width of the flower and inked it up sticky side on the ink pad then pressed it down on Very Vanilla card stock, pulled up and repeated, then switched colors for the two-toned look.  I did the Blushing Bride first then the Cherry Cobbler.
For the leaves I only did this with Old Olive ink.
After getting the ink on the paper I stamped the image with Black StazOn and then cut out.
I sponged all over the flower and leaves with Crumb Cake ink.
Put some Pearl Basic Jewels in the center to finish it off.
