Ampersand

 

For this card I used the new Ampersand Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

I embossed the ampersand on Crumb Cake cardstock and then rubbed the Whisper White Craft Ink pad over the image to highlight the embossing and edges of the paper.

 

I also used the Perfect Pennants stamp set and Banners Framelits Dies along with a scrap of paper from the Fresh Prints paper stack and a piece of Natural 5/8" Chevron Ribbon.

For You Card

 

I just have to say that when I first saw the Gold Sequin Trim in the Occasions mini catalog I wasn't sure what to do with it, but I am liking the little sparkle it gives just adding a few bits here and there.

Just snip off individual pieces and attach with a mini glue dot.

 

The stamp set used on this card is Chalk Talk and the polka-dot paper is from the Fresh Prints designer series paper stack.

Make a Wish Birthday Card

 

I really love the Fresh Prints designer paper stack and the color combo of Real Red, Coastal Cabana and Whisper White!

I used the Perfect Pennants stamp set and the Banners Framelits dies along with the new Scallops Textured Impressions embossing folder on this card. 

 

The happy birthday banner on the inside of the card is from the Hostess stamp set Banner Greetings.

Card in a Box

I saw a video HERE on how to make this "card in a box" card and I just had to give it a try.

 

 

 How fun is this!

It did take some time and I don't think I would make a lot of them but will be making some more with different stamp sets and papers.

 

Stamp sets used are: Stipples Blossoms, Papillion Potpourri, and Bring on the Cake.

Papers used are: Coastal Cabana and Very Vanilla cardstock and Afternoon Picnic designer series paper.

 

Best thing about this card is it folds down flat so you can mail it.

 

The one thing I did different from the video is when she has you cut the paper to 6", I cut mine to 5-1/2" so it would be the size of a standard card to fit in the Medium Envelopes that Stampin' Up! sells.

I used the Envelope Liners Framelits Dies to line the envelope with a piece of designer paper from the Afternoon Picnic paper pack.

Another Great Year

The birthday greeting on this card is from the stamp set Another Great Year in the new Occasions Catalog. 

I stamped this image with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with Silver embossing powder on a piece of the Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper.

In the background is a sneak peek of a sale-a-bration item - Decorative Dots embossing folder that I used on the Silver foil sheet and then sanded a bit to soften the look.
