Rose Garden Thinlits Dies

The cards I am sharing today use the Rose Garden Thinlits Dies and the Rose Wonder stamp set which has many wonderful greetings in it.

For this first card I used cut out the roses with Marina Mist cardstock and then applied Clear Wink of Stella on them to add some sparkle.  I like to use the 2-way Glue pen to adhere the die cut roses.

For this next card I cut out the dies on Whisper White cardstock and then used sponge daubers to apply ink to them.  I used Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, and Melon Mambo ink.

Another Birthday Blooms

The Birthday Blooms stamp set is one of my favorites from the Occasions Catalog.

Here I stamped the large floral image with VersaMark ink and heat set white embossing powder on Crumb Cake cardstock.  I then colored in the image with Stampin' Write markers in Blushing Bride, Rose Red and Garden Green.  Added some sparkle to the center with Gold Wink of Stella.

For the card base I stamped with the floral image with Crumb Cake ink on the Crumb Cake cardstock.  Added a strip of Love Blossoms dsp and wrapped some Gold Metallic thread around it.  Then layered Garden Green cardstock under the main image.

Birthday Blooms Note Card

For this card I started with a card base from the Crumb Cake Note Cards & Envelopes.

On the envelope I stamped the flower image from Birthday Blooms in Crumb Cake ink.

For the card front I stamped the same image on Shimmery White cardstock with VersaMark ink and heat set white embossing powder then watercolored the image.

Love the look of watercoloring on the Shimmery White cardstock.

Rose Garden Watercolor

Using the rose Garden Thinlits dies I cut out the rose and leaf image on Basic Black cardstock and attached with a 2-way glue pen onto Whisper White cardstock.
I then watercolored using an Aqua Painter and ink refills.
I worked with little water and didn't go back over much because I was coloring on the cardstock.  Worked fine but watercolor paper or Shimmery White cardstock would hold up to watercoloring better.
When it was dry I added some clear Wink of Stella.

One Card Leads to Another...

It all started with this card...
I hated to throw away the left overs when I cut out the rose from Blushing Bride Glimmer paper so
I laid them out on a piece of black cardstock for the rose on the card below...

Then after cutting out the black heart with the Bloomin' Heart die I cut another one out of Blushing Bride Glimmer paper and put that in the black heart shape left over for the card below...

Leaving this one without a sentiment for now but perhaps it will become a wedding card?

This using up the scraps can just go on and on...

Happy Valentines Day!

I think this is my last Valentine card to share....
I made so many and then didn't send out a one! Completely forgot.

These are the cards we made in this month's Card Club.

Have a wonderful day!

Sky is the Limit - Limited Time!

The Sky is the Limit stamp set is in the Sale-a-bration catalog for a limited time till February 15.

For the background on this card I rubbed the Soft Suede ink pad on one side of the World Traveler embossing folder and then ran through the Big Shot on a piece of Crumb Cake card stock.

The background on this card features paper from the Going Places designer series paper stack.
Soft Suede, Black, and Sahara Sand card stock and ink.
