Sweet Valentine

Finally getting a chance to play with some of the new items from the upcoming Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog - starts Jan 4!

The little girl is from the Greeting Card Kids stamp set. I just stamped her in Real Red, put a rhinestone on her bow and used the glue pen to adhere red Fine Galaxy glitter to the heart. The red glitter matches perfectly the red glimmer paper that is in the new mini catalog.

Also a new favorite - Framed Tulips embossing folder!!!

I am working on some class projects and will post when I have them all planned. Look forward to showing you lots of fun new things this next year.

More Christmas Cards

So many cards......so little time. Just wanted to share some more cards before Christmas has come and gone and they get forgotten.

Isn't the little "snow globe" cute? It is made with the snowman tag from Tags till Christmas. The base is half a circle punch and the snowflake (which covers the to/from) is from the Northern Frost decoartive strip die. I used the 2-way glue pen to adhere the dazzling diamonds glitter.

Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White for a crisp clean look. Stamp set is Peaceful Season (level 2 hostess set) and the embossing is done with the Petals a Plenty embossing folder and an oval chipboard frame.

Another Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White with a little Blushing Bride. The Candy Cane paper is from Candy Cane Christmas designer series paper which has all sold out :(. The "Dec. 25" is from the Tags till Christmas stamp set and punched out with the Decoative Label punch. I also used the Silver Glass glitter (love that stuff!) applied with the Multipurpose liquid glue.

Wishing you a Very Merry Christmas!

Filled with Love Promo

Candy Cane Christmas

I really love the fun colors of this card - Cherry Cobbler, Baja Breeze and Whisper White. For the "ribbon" I used the polka dot fabric from the Candy Cane Christmas designer fabric and ripped a piece about an 1-1/4" wide. The wreath is from the hostess level 1 set -Northern Hearts. "Merry Christmas" is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. I also used the Scallop Squares Duo
Big Shot die for the scallop square (of course). This card was cut 4-1/4" x 11" so the fold is at the top.

Joy Wreath

The color combo for this card is River rock, Whisper White and Cherry Cobbler. The stamp set used is Welcome Chrismas. I "antiqued" the Cherry Cobbler seam binding by getting it damp and scunching up and letting it dry. Other items used are Basic Rhinestones, Clear Rhinestone brad, and Frost Shimmer paint mixed with alcohol.

Christmas Present Card

Doesn't this simple card looks like a wrapped Christmas present?
The holly "wrapping paper" is from Deck the Halls designer series paper and is mounted on Cherry Cobbler card stock. The ribbon is Cherry Cobbler seam binding. I stamped "A Merry Christmas" in Cherry Cobbler and the holly in Crumb Cake - both stamps from Bells & Boughs - on Very Vanilla card stock and punched out with the Designer Label punch. This is attached to the bow with a little safety pin from Vintage Trinkets.

More Christmas Collage

Elegant and Simple 3x3 Gift Cards

These little cards are made with Very Vanilla card stock, Cherry Cobbler & Crumb Cake classic inks, & Cherry Cobbler Seam binding. After stamping the Christmas Collage in Cherry Cobbler I added the holly leaves from Bells & Boughs in Crumb cake randomly for background filler - it also gives a vintage look. Attached the loops of ribbon on two of the cards with the little button brads from Vintage Trinkets - aren't they cute?

Cherry Cobbler Christmas Collage

Don't you just love Cherry Cobbler? It is may favorite red that Stampin' Up! has.

Pair that color with the Christmas Collage stamp on Very Vanilla and you've got a great combo!

I punched out the "25" that was on the Christmas Collage stamp to reveal the Cherry Cobbler underneath. Then gold embossed the bells from Bells & Boughs stamp set, colored, cut out and attached with a stampin demensional. Also used the "A Merry Christmas" from Bells & Boughs and embossed in gold.

A Merry Christmas!

Vintage Snowflake Card

I saw a card like this some time ago and then sat down and did it from memory, don't know if its as pretty as the one I got the idea from though.
I used Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, and Baja Breeze card stock - love those colors together. The ribbon is Early Espresso striped grosgrain cut in half and the bottom edge is frayed a bit. Used my Big Shot alot on this card - Snowflake #2 die, Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, and the Northern Frost Decorative Strip for the small snowflake. Also used the Decorative Label punch, Bright Christmas stamp set, Antique Brads, Early Espresso and Crumb Cake classic ink, and a Stamping Sponge.

Peace on Earth

This card was a "mistake" but I liked the way it turned out. First I embossed with the petals-a-plenty embossing folder and an oval frame on Very Vanilla paper. Then I stamped the "Peace on Earth" and the dove from Peaceful Season stamp set with Versa Mark ink and applied gold embossing powder. This is where things got messy, it stuck all over around the embossed petals. I then just heat embossed it to see how it looked and I really like it, much better in real life than the photo. I also added some distressing with the tea stain ink from the Distressing Essentials kit. For the ribbon I distressed the Very Vanilla Seam Binding with the tea stain ink and spritzed damp with water and crumpled up and let it dry. Love the vintage look of it.
