Discounted Retiring Items

I was looking through the discounted retiring items and wanted to share with you a couple that I will be missing.Presto Patterns specialty designer series paper, item #117175, $8.96

This paper is so easy to use. Just brayer or sponge on ink to the paper and the embossed areas resisted the ink and show the beautiful pattern.

Sad to see the Big Shot Perfect Setting die go. It is item # 115961 and is now $25.77 ! That is a great buy as it was $42.95.

Remember these cute little cupcake boxes made with this die?

I haven't been doing any paper crafting lately as my basement is still getting wet. Hoping to have the issue solved soon and it would really help if the rain would back off a bit. Too much ground water!

The new catalog comes out July 1. You are going to love all the beautiful new items in it and I can't wait to share them with you. I have some and haven't had a chance to play with them yet. If I don't get my Stampin' Studio back soon I may have to set up shop in the garage!

Masculine Cards

These are some cards that I had designed for the Masculine cards class that I had to cancel due to my basement flooding. Hopefully will have everything back together again in the next couple of weeks or sooner. This card features the stamp set Best Dad Ever from the Summer Mini Catalog and the Define Your Life stamp set. I used Stampin' Write Markers in Basic Black and Real Red to color the ties before stamping.

This card uses the Lovely As a Tree stamp set that has been in the main catalog since 2001, hope it sticks around for the next catalog - it's a great stamp set! The "happy birthday" came fromt the Best Dad Ever set. I used Stampin' Pastels and Sponge Daubers to add color to the tree and ground. The newspring is from the Special Edition desinger series paper.

I just love this Open Sea stamp set and Nautical Expediton designer series paper from the Summer Mini Catalog. I heat embossed the anchor with Silver emboss powder, cut it out and tied it on with some Cherry Cobbler/White Baker's Twine. I stamped the "ships log" and used the Spiral Border punch on the edge then crumpled up the paper a bit - looks good!

Baker's Twine

I ordered a cute necklace the other day from an Etsy shop, Funky Vintage Lovely, and it came all wrapped up in this cute box. Doesn't that twine just add the perfect touch? It looks just like the Cherry Cobbler/White Baker's Twine in the Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Catalog, item #123125.

Here is the cute necklace that I had ordered. I just had to have it. Remember the card I made back in April with this saying? See the April post on British Springtime Vintage. http://stampinonthecamasprairie.blogspot.com/2011/04/brittish-springtime-vintage.html

Have a great Memorial Day!

Rippin' out the Carpet

Took a few photos as we started ripping the carpet out of My Stampin' Studio after the basement flooded.

My husband has been working on getting the glue off the floor and then I think I will just paint it and call it good. I need my Stampin' Room back!!! Everything is boxed up and in the garage and I am going through stamping withdrawls.
