Window Box Thinlits Dies

The Window Box Thinlits Dies can do so much more than just make a box.
This set also has a coordinating stamp set that can be purchased in a bundle but I only got the dies.

First things first...make the box.

I placed a little battery operated votive in this box made of Soft Sky cardstock.

For this card I used one of the dies on a piece of Shimmery White cardstock and backed it with Mint Macaron glimmer paper which is a new Sale-a-bration item, 6" x 6" Glimmer Paper Assortment Pack.

I love this card.
Using the large floral die on a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Whisper White cardstock, I cut the image out and then stamped a greeting from Flourishing Phrases with Watermelon Wonder ink.
The card base is made of Whisper White Thick Cardstock and I sponged ink (Watermelon Wonder, Crushed Curry and Wild Wasabi) where it would show through when the floral die cut piece was on over it.

The birthday candle die is so cute!
After cutting out the image I placed pieces of cardstock behind the cut outs.
(Daffodil Delight, Island Indigo and Cherry Cobbler)
The greeting is from Flourishing Phrases and the card base is embossed with the Festive embossing folder.

For the inside I stamped a balloon from the Balloon Celebration stamp set in Daffodil Delight and drew a string with the Island Indigo Stampin' Write marker.

Birthday on Cloud Nine

I am really having fun with the Lift Me Up Bundle!

For this card I used a Crumb Cake cardstock for the base and stamped with Crumb Cake ink balloons and clouds. On Whisper White cardstock I stamped the greeting and one balloon in Island Indigo and the other balloon in Cherry Cobbler. I then used the coordinating dies and cut out the images and clouds (which I then sponged the edges with Island Indigo ink). For the greeting banner I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 7/8" x 5-1/5" long and used the banner die piece in the Window Box Thinlits Dies set. It is a small piece that cuts the dove tails and scores the paper so you can fold it for a dimensional banner.
The large balloon is Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler and Island Indigo.

Just a Note

This card features the Lift Me Up stamp set and coordinating Up & Away Thinlits Dies.

I am having so much fun with this bundle!

For this card I first stamped the balloons and clouds with Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake cardstock.
I used a thin strip of Cherry Cobbler cardstock near the bottom and stamped the greeting in Soft Suede ink. I sponged Crumb Cake ink on the edges of the greeting and the background piece.

The large balloon is cut out with a die on Soft Suede cardstock and has Cherry Cobbler and Night of Navy pieces behind it which are also cut out with dies.

The "note" is stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink on Whisper white and I cut off some of the bottom and rolled it a bit to fit in the basket.

That's the Tag

This card features the That's the Tag bundle which inludes the That's the Tag stamp set and Timeless Tags Thinlits Dies.
You can do so much more than just make tags with this set.

For this card I cut out the flower die 3 times on three different colors of card stock, Basic Black, Whisper White and Garden Green. I used the black for the frame and took the petal pieces of white and the leaf pieces from the green and set them in place. For the center of the flower I just used the white and colored it with a marker. The pieces stayed quite nicely in place and I just applied some regular tape to the back to hold them.

Also used on this card is the Urban Underground designer series paper, Elegant Dots embossing folder and Whisper White Baker's Twine.

So Very Much

The So Very Much stamp set available during Sale-a-bration makes for a quick and easy thank you card.

I stamped the large "thank you" greeting in Night of Navy on Whisper White cardstock and then layered that over a piece of the lovely Floral Boutique designer series paper.

Avant Garden

For this card I used the Sale-a-bration stamp set Avant Garden and paired it with Wisteria Wonder, Garden Green, and the Fluttering embossing folder.

I stamped the flower image with Wisteria Wonder ink on a piece of Whisper White cardstock cut out with a Stitched Framelit die, stamping twice to get the two shades.
Stems and leaf are stamped in Garden Green.
The centers I stamped with Perfect Plum ink along with the greeting.

January Card Class

Thought I would pop in and post something on my little blog so here are the cards that we made in my January card class.

This card features the Dragonfly Dreams bundle and the beautiful Falling in Love designer series paper from the Occasions Catalog.

For this Valentine card I used the Falling Petals embossing folder along with Sunshine Wishes thinlits and Labeler Alphabet stamp set.

I really love the Happy Celebrations stamp set and Celebrations Duo embossing folders combined with the Urban Underground specialty designer series paper.

This is my favorite set from the Sale-a-bration brochure it is called "Hey, Chick".
I used the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to create the chicken wire look.

My favorite chicken in this set is this goofy one that I stamped inside the card.
I have more cards to share made with this goofy chick.

Christmas Cards

Christmas cards with matching envelopes.

This card features the Candy Cane Lane designer series paper along with the Holly embossing folder.
I highlighted the embossed Crumb Cake cardstock and envelope by rubbing the white craft ink pad over the embossing.

Love the Merry Medley background stamp!  The snowflake is from the Tin of tags stamp set and I also used the Merriest Wishes bundle.

The Pine Bough embossing folder is featured on this card and envelope along with the This Christmas designer series paper, Merriest Wishes bundle and a greeting from Reason for the Season stamp set.

Wonderful Year and Christmas Pines stamp sets are featured on this card of Emerald Envy and Mint Macaron (love that combo!).  Added a little silver embossing powder and silver 1/8" ribbon.

For this card I used the Joyful Nativity stamp set and a greeting from the Reason for the Season stamp set for the envelope along with Dapper Denim, Whisper White Thick cardstock and Silver Glimmer paper.

Reason for the Season

Thought I would pull out the lovely Reason for the Season stamp set.  I love the words in this set and the two-step stamping for the poinsettia.
The card base is Cherry Cobbler cut at 8-1/4" x 4-1/4" scored at 5-1/2".
On the front flap is a piece of This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper.
For the top panel I used a piece of Garden Green with a layer of Very Vanilla cardstock embossed with the Pine Bough embossing folder.
The greeting is stamped in Garden Green and the flower in Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green.

On the inside I used a greeting from the Wonderful Year stamp set.

In the center of the flower I added a little gold glitter.

Vintage Leaves Hello

The Vintage Leaves stamp set and coordinating die have been favorites since they first came out.

For the leaf on this card I stamped the image with Always Artichoke ink on Rich Razzleberry cardstock.
The background is Very Vanilla cardstock embossed with the Petal Burst embossing folder and then sponged with Cajun Craze, Always Artichoke, Rich Razzleberry, and Crushed Curry inks.

The little "Hello" is from the Banners for You stamp set and cut out with a die from the coordinating Bunch of Banners Framelits set.

Cable Knit Pumpkin

A couple of years ago I picked up an orange cable knit sweater at a thrift store with the intention of making a stuffed pumpkin with it.  That didn't happen and I don't even know where the orange sweater went to...perhaps back to the thrift store.
Anyway, that is what inspired this card...

Using a die from the Layering Ovals Framelits I cut out 3 ovals from Pumpkin Pie cardstock and then embossed them with the Cable Knit embossing folder.  I then sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink and then layered them together to create the pumpkin.  From Soft Suede cardstock I hand cut a stem and used a die from the Cupcake Cutouts Framelits for the curly vine part.

The background is Very Vanilla cardstock stamped with the word "grateful" from the Endless Wishes stamp set in Sahara Sand ink.  The greeting and banner are also from that stamp set.

For the leaves I stamped a leaf from the Vintage Leaves stamp set in Always Artichoke on Very
Vanilla cardstock
and cut out with the coordination die in the Leaflets Framelits set.
I then sponged them with Pear Pizzazz, Always Artichoke and Soft Suede inks.
Last, I flicked dots of ink from the Soft Suede and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Markers.

Jar of Haunts with Candy Corn

Well, I am finally inking up some of the other stamps in the Jar of Haunts stamp set (so far I have only used the pumpkin image).  When I found these cute little individual bags of candy corn I knew I had to make these tags with the jar and candy corn to go with them.

I stamped the jar, candy corn, spider and treat saying with Basic Black ink on Whisper White cardstock.  Cut out the jars with the Everyday Jars Framelits and the greeting with a die from the Tags & Labels Framelits.  I colored the candy corn with the Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Markers
I punched a hole through both pieces and then tied together with some twine from the Halloween Night Baker's Twine. Then I just stapled the tag to the top of the bag with the Handheld Stapler and Silver Mini Staples that are found in the Annual Catalog on page 185...I love this stapler and it is being discontinued so if you want it now is the time.  I have stocked up on the silver mini staples.

I miscounted and didn't make one tag for the number of jars I made so just stamped the "Happy Halloween" from the Jar of Haunts stamp set masking off the swirl that is under it.
