Playing Dress Up

Having fun with the Dress Up Framelits Dies from the Spring Catalog.

Warning:  These are cute, fun, and addicting!

For this card I used Baja Breeze card stock for the base and Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon.
The dress form is cut from black with the Dress Up framelit.
I used the dress framelit to cut out a dress from Very Vanilla card stock and then embossed it with the Lacy Brocade embossing folder.  Cut off about half of the dress portion and then attached the paper flowers from the Pop-Up Posies designer kit (these look like mini cupcake liners).  Used 3 different sizes folded in half and crumpled up a bit.  Attached with a glue gun until I reached the waist and then added a bow to cover the top of the skirt.

For this dress I used the same method for creating the skirt just used the Pool Party colored paper flowers from the Pop-Up Posies kit.  The card base is Pool Party and the layer is So Saffron embossed with the Lacy Brocade embossing folder.  The dress form is cut from Early Espresso card stock using the Dress Up framelits.  The bodice (dress) is from the designer series paper Tea for Two.  The Pool Party satin ribbon at the waist is from the Sycamore Street ribbon and button pack available through sale-a-bration.

For this card the background polka-dotted paper is from the Tea for Two dsp layered on Early Espresso on a card base of Very Vanilla card stock.
The dress form is Early Espresso and the dress base is Very Vanilla embossed with Perfect Polka Dots folder.
The paper flowers are Calypso Coral from the Pop-Up Posies kit.  Bow at the waist is Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon.

All feature a necklace made with Pearl Basic Jewels.

Hope these cards have inspired you to play "dress up"!

Happy Stampin'-
